MELO-AR | AR Goggles for swimming

The final project of my bachelor's degree at Bezalel Academy Of Design.

The swimming experience can be very repetitive and monotonous, to the point of a real motivation crisis.
Every time I swim in the pool, I imagine myself swimming in the sea – curious to explore the fish, coral, and the unique environment. The project sets out to connect my imagination with reality.
Melo are swimming goggles that incorporate augmented reality (AR) technology into the swimming experience. A new virtual layer is added to reality, while still being connected to the pool environment and those around us.
While swimming, you can see marine environments from different parts of the world, set up a training program, monitor body statistics, and play games. Swim in the pool, feel in the sea.
